Our Alumni Stories
Each one of these alumni were identified early in their high school education as most likely to succeed in life and in academics.
As a result, each one was followed with resources and support from the foundation and upon graduation, received the Benjamin & Esther Elesin Foundation Scholarship to attend University.

They are leaders. Here are their stories.
Dr. AWOLIYI ABIMBOLA, Gynaecologist
Dr. Ambibola went to medical school at the University of Lagos where she earned her medical degree. She is currently a Junior Medical Officer at the Massey Street Hospital.
BABA OLADEJI, ARCHITECT
Baba graduated from University of Ilorin. Now a partner at architecture firm Design Party, Baba Oladeji is interested in how architecture and politics work together, as illustrated in his futuristic project Fela Memorial Force HQ, which was exhibited at Freedom Park, a memorial and leisure area in downtown Lagos.
Damilola Anwo-Ade,
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Damiloao is the managing partner of prout Consulting and the founder of CodeIT – a platform that mentors the next generation of coders, including young women. Damilola strongly believes in encouraging and empowering young girls to study in science and technology areas. She was honored by the American embassy in Nigeria in 2017 for her contribution to technological education in Nigeria.
